My 2nd and 3rd ggfs, Oliver Perry Tifft and George Tefft, died in Coles Co. in 1861 and 1851, respectively. Their probate files contained quite a few names of people who either had claims against the estate or bought items at the estate sale. I thought it might be useful to list the names in case anyone is looking for these folks. Needless to say, some of the writing is difficult to decipher. I will do a few at a time as time allows.
