Hi all, If Tricia is talking about Karen Zike, then I too will give any information on her, as I do know her very well. However, you must keep in mind that, while Karen is very good at what she does, she is also *extremely* swamped. We've had a problem with people writing to several people at one time (ie, me, Karen, County Clerk, Genealogical Society, etc.), which means that duplicate people are doing duplicate work, and this constitutes a serious waste of time for the people doing the research. So, my caution to all of you is....be patient. Write only to one person at a time before you write to someone else. One recent situation found 5 people doing the same work, and then, the other day, a 6th person was found to be doing the same work all for just one person. All 5 of the orignal contacts know each other, but, unfortunately, not before time and money had been spent. This has caused a lot of resentment and frustration for all of us, which is the main reason why I quit doing lookups for people, as I too am in Charleston. So, I can only caution all of you to be patient and only write to ONE person at a time. If any of you would like information on Karen, please e-mail me privately. Thanks!
