Hi all, Well, I've made a major goof!! When I talked with a member of the Coles County Genealogical Society Board the other day and learned about the possible reprint, I got the name of the wrong book. We had discussed several books and I inadvertently wrote down the wrong book. The book that is being considered for reprint is the "History of Coles County, 1879." It does not have an index, but one is also being considered. If anyone would interested in this book, let me know and I will let the CCGS know. However, the news isn't all bad. I did find out today that there is a company that has reprinted the 1889 Portrait and Biographical History of Coles County. Those of you who have already contacted me, I wil be sending a separate letter with all the details of the cost and who to send the request to. If anyone else would like the information, just let me know and I'll send it to you. Sorry about the confusion!! Linda listowner
