Hi all, I have two pieces of information. First, the Coles County Genealogical Society is contemplating re-printing the "1887 Portrait and Biographical Album of Coles County." Right now they would like to know a possible number of people who would be interested in purchasing the book. I have been given no indication of what the cost might be right now. If any of you would be interested in purchasing this book, please send me your name and e-mail address. I will pass this information on to the Society. The next piece of information is in regard to the Drummond Cemetery. I have been unable to get ahold of the township supervisor to find out which grave stones were damaged. However, the last news I have heard is that they have suspects, a least a couple of them. For now, this is all I know. I will keep you posted on what I find out. Thanks! Linda listowner
