I am looking for information on the James Monroe Biswell family that lived in the Monroe, Clinton Co., Area He married a Susan Jones on May 21,1856 In Monroe Co., ILL. They had 9 children. Their daughter Elizabeth (Lizzie) Biswell is my great grandmother. I am trying to find information about her and my grandfather, William (Willis/Bill) Brown. Specifically, when and where they were married. They had a son Named Archie, who died the end of March 1899. A son, Elmer James, a daughter, Cora Jane, and my grandfather William (Willis) McKinley Brown. I have been told by a family member that Bill Brown died before my grandfather was born in 1895. My grandfather was born in Pocahontas, Randolph Co., AR. Lizzie remarried to a Charles Josephus Middleton on Feb. 15, 1899 in Ripley Co., MO. They had one son, John Wesley Middleton, born in Donathan/Doniphan, Ripley co., MO on July 29, 1900. He was my great uncle. I would appreciate anything on them that I can get.
