A few weeks ago we wrote in asking for help regarding a three person headstone in Damiansville CC. Gloria and Dorothy went to view this stone, translated the German inscriptions and checked the church records. They identified the stone inscriptions as: Berenien, Anna Maria born 5 Dec. 1845 died 13 Dec. 1875 wife of Franz. Hoeveten, Anna Maria born 15 Oct. 1801 died 26, Dec. 1875 wife of Heinrich. She is the mother and her two daughters are buried on each side. Winter, Maria Anna born 10 Nov.`1830 died 20 Dec. 1875. Wife of Joseph Winter. If anyone is related to this mother and her two daughters, please write to us.
