    3. I'm researching my g-g-grandparents, James Cooper and Harriet Johnston, and the trail peters out in Clinton Co., Illinois. The 1880 Census places them in Irishtown, Clinton Co., and family history places them in Carlyle ca. 1884. Further, according to family history, they occupied a house in Carlyle on the corner of Fairfax Ave. and 3rd St. which was owned at the time by Richard Thomas Daniel. Apparently, the house was sold by Mr. Daniel in 1908, but no mention is made of what became of James and Harriet Cooper. Any insight into this matter would be of the greatest help to me. Thanks, Ken Hoffman __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! SiteBuilder - Free, easy-to-use web site design software http://sitebuilder.yahoo.com
