If you've done a lot of researching, you have no doubt come upon sites with e-mail addresses where you can write to get more info, only to do so and receive no reply. This is not the case at the Clinton County site. As we are all volunteers, you might have to wait a day or two for a response, but you WILL get an answer. If there is an index listed on the site, there is a volunteer who gets a kick out of helping you find YOUR people. We can't guarantee we can help you, but we can tell you what we have in files we've not been able to put online at this time. So if a link says it's an INDEX and that INDEX has a link to an e-mail addy for more info, send an e-mail. If you get a return notice, don't worry. My e-mail address hasn't changed in 10 years, and as all the volunteers are in contact on a semi-regular basis, I can get your request to the proper volunteer. By the way! In the subject line (if it is not sent via the list) make SURE you put something to clearly identify your e-mail as a request for information from Clinton Co: Surname.
