I've looked at a couple of off-year state censuses. The information varies from state to state. The IL census I looked at named only the head of household, just like the federal census records before 1850. A Kansas census had names like the federal, plus it asked not only where the people were born, but also where they lived before going to KS. An Iowa census even asked what church they attended.
