I have recently read a new book called "Portraits of Our Past" by Emily Rose that covers much of the same information and focuses mainly on the Jewish experience and wonderful stories of her ancestors. Just a quick question: Do you know if you are related to the Anna Landauer who was born 14 Jul 1845 in Hesses-Kassel, Germany and came to Clinton C. in 1847? I have a connection to Adam Wolf whom she married and later moved with to KS.
