Looking for Ferdinand and Catherine/Katherine Dittmer THEENER in 1860 Clinton Co, IL. He was born in 1837 in Germany, and immigrated to the US in 1855. She was born in St Louis in 1845. They were married in 1865 in St Louis, but are found in the 1870 and 1880 Clinton County censuses. They lived in Clinton County until circa 1890, then moving to Carroll County, Missouri, Surname is variously spelled Theener, Thuener, Theiner, and in the 1870 census it even appears to be "Tums". Even though the surname is apparently misspelled, all of the family members fit those listed in the 1880. Any assistance will be appreciated. Robert Schroeder
