    3. Linda and all, Yes the microfilm reader printer at the Breese Library is ready to go. The Breese Historical society has microfilmed the Breese Journal from 1928 thru 1932 and 1964 thru 1968. These films are not available thru the library system, but are in the library in Breese The state didn't microfilm them for some reason. Granted the newspapers from 1928 thru 1932 were in very bad shape, and aren't complete, however we captured what was left of them for others to see. Sorry to say but because of their poor condition the microfilm company couldn't microfilm them in order. We have ordered copies of all other microfilms that the state has in their inventory. At last month's meeting Kay Chago stated they should be here in 6 weeks. We have a meeting next Wednesday at the Breese Activity Center (the old Civil defense Building and currently the Senior Citizen Center). Unfortunately I will be out of town and will not be there to check whether the films are still on schedule. By the way, the Breese Historical Society has an email site that I currently control, if anyone has anything that they want to ask us they can email us at [email protected], I check the mail every two to three days. John

    3. Linda and all, Greetings I just came back from the Breese Library. The microfilm of the Breese Journal is in. They now have 1928 thru 2002 on microfilm for all to use. Enjoy. The Breese Historical Society is excited that we can now provide these for the citizens of Breese and all other visitors to Breese that want to view/print articles from back issues. Just a friendly reminder... The Breese Historical Society meets monthly at the Breese Activity Center the last Wednesday of the month. Membership is only $10 per year. Anyone wanting to join can attend a meeting and join or send a check to: The Breese Historical Society P.O.Box 103 Breese, IL 62230 Thank You for your interest in the microfilm reader/printer John V.
