Otke, she came from Hanover, Ger. in 1837, they are patrons of the book, lived in Breese Township. I just happened to be looking through the St. Dominic Church Baptism records (a Breese church) yesterday. There are Detmers in the early years of these Baptism records. These records are on microfilm at the Belleville, IL and St. Louis County, MO (Headquarters branch only)libraries. Can you get to either of these places? Gloria
