    3. Union Banner, Carlyle, IL, Oct 8, 2003, Page 2a/Col 2-3 Viola A. "Olie" Meyer, 85 Viola A. "Olie" Meyer, 85, of Aviston, died Wednesday, Oct. 1st, 2003, at Countryside Manor in Aviston. She was born on April 4th, 1918, in St. Rose, the daughter of Herman and Helena Von Hatten Holtgrave, and they preceded her in death. On October 5th, 1938, in St. Rose, she married Alfred Hollenkamp, and he preceded her in death on March 19th, 1972. She married Richard Meyer on January 24th, 1975, in Aviston, and he preceded her in death on February 3rd, 1991. Surviving are three sons, James Hollenkamp of Port Orange, Fla., Mark Hollenkamp of Valrico, Fla., and Chuck Hollenkamp of Plant City, Fla.; one daughter, Barb Haselhorst of Aviston; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were six brothers, Ray, Alvin "Sam", Walter, Edwin "Hoppie", Alfred and Bill Holtgrave; three sisters, Laura Huelsmann, Elizabeth Holtgrave and Frances Huelsmann; and one stepson, Jerry Meyer. Mrs. Meyer was a homemaker and retired from Murray Center in Centralia. She was a member of St. Francis Church and Altar Sodality. Funeral services were conducted on Monday, Oct. 6th, at 11 a.m. at St. Francis Church in Aviston, with Fr. Vince Haselhorst officiating. Interment was in St. Francis Cemetery in Aviston. Visitation was at Hempen Funeral Home in Aviston.
