Union Banner, Carlyle, IL, Jan 7, 2004, Page 2a/Col 3 Erma J. Troutt, 79 Erma J. Troutt, 79, of Sandoval died Thursday, Jan. 1st, 2004, at St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia. She was born on April 24th, 1924, in East Fork Township, the daughter of Fred W. and Velma M. Adams Heinrich, and they preceded her in death. On March 9th, 1941, in St. Louis, Mo., she married Lester M. Troutt, and he survives in Sandoval. Also surviving are two daughters, Marsha Reckling of Shattuc and Sandra Turner of Willits, Calif.; two sisters, Velma Weeden of Fort Morgan, Colo., and Shirley Brinkmeyer of Centralia; four grandchil-dren and seven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Troutt grew up in Eastern Clinton County and lived all of her adult life in Sandoval. She worked at the Illinois Bell--telephone building in Centralia in maintenance, and she was a cook for the Sandoval High School for 10 years. She was a mem-ber of the Sandoval United Method-ist Church and a former member of the Moose Lodge in Centralia. She enjoyed spending time with her fam-ily. Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, Jan. 3rd, at 1:00 p.m. at the Day Funeral Home in Sandoval, with Rev. Clayton Coffey officiat-ing. Interment was in Hillcrest Cem-etery in rural Centralia.
