I've "rescued" an old photograph of George NEUBARTH which was taken at the F. B. Strathmann Studio in Mascoutah, Illinois. It appears to be a wedding photograph of the bride and groom (likely George) and their attendants (best man and maid or matron of honor) and was likely taken in the 1890's with all appearing to be in their teens or 20's at the time. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding George and his family: George Albert NEUBARTH b. Trenton, IL was the son of Albert NEUBARTH (b. about 1843 in St. Clair Co. IL) and Louise KESSELRING (b. about 1847). The couple was married on 4 Apr 1867 in St. Clair Co. IL and together they had a number of children including Conrad; Leander; and George Albert NEUBARTH. George married Mamie Annie FLACH or FLACK on the 12th of Oct 1899 in Mascoutah, IL and had at least one child.
