This family moved to Gibson County Indiana. Mildred and William Johnson died within 2 weeks of each other in 1842-43. William's Estate-Shuck 49-file 9 Gibson County Indiana. The heirs at law are non residents of this state in open court 14th Nov. 1843: Henry JOHNSON Mathias HARMON and Rebecca his wife William JOHNSON Pleasant Clark JOHNSON Jacob McCLELLAN and Nancy his wife Samuel JOHNSON John JOHNSON On the roster of Company I, 111th Illinois Infantry I found the following: JOHNSON, Henry Private Enlisted Carlyle Sep 18, 1862 Died at Marietta, Ga., July 14, 1864 JOHNSON, William Corporal Enlisted Carlyle Sep 18, 1862 Died, Paducah, June 15, 1863 I think they were brothers.
