I will definitely keep my eyes open though - that is interesting ... i can go back to the 1840 Census in illinois with this family - have you been able to get back any further?? in illinois Here is my path backwards: me - my Dad, Robert Cornelius Lannert - his mother Anna Martha Cornelius - her father Daniel J. Cornelius - his father joseph Cornelius and his father J.W. Cornelius - but i am still trying to figure out where Cornelius goes in Virginia - there are quite a few of them - as i think there were quite of few in southern illinois too.
