Union Banner, Carlyle, IL, Mar 22, 2006, Page 2a/Col 2 Andrew L. Huelsmann, 63 Andrew L. Huelsmann, 63, of Bartelso, died Saturday, March 18th, 2006, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Breese. Born August 22nd, 1942, `in Bartelso, he was the son of Fred and Caroline Eversgerd Huelsmann and they preceded him in death. He married Janice M. Thomas on Nov:.. 18th, 1978, at the Holy Family Church in Cahokia, and she survives in Bartelso. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a sister, Agnes "Aggie" Kreke. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Johanna Rickhoff. He was a farmer and a member of St. Cecilia Church in Bartelso. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus in Bartelso, the Clinton County Farm Bureau, a 50-year member of Catholic Faternal Life and a former member of the Bartelso Volunteer Fire Department. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday, March 21st, at St. Cecilia Church in Bartelso with Father Henry Fischer officiating. Interment followed at St. Cecilia Cemetery. Zieren Day Funeral Home in Carlyle handled the arrangements.
