Union Banner, Carlyle, IL May 3, 2006 Page 2a/Col 3 Frances E. Schrage, 66 Frances E. "Fran" Schrage, 66, of Breese, died Wednesday, April 26th, 2006, at her home. Born Jan. 19th, 1940, in Spencer, Iowa, she was the daughter of Fred and Erma Hollenbeck Wetherell and they preceded her in death. She married Elmer F. Schrage on June 15th, 1960, in Ottawa and he survives in Breese. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons; Scott Schrage and Chad Schrage, both of Breese; and one sister, Joan Bourne of Pontiac. She was a retired cosmetologist. She was a member of St. Dominic Parish and St. Joseph Hospital Auxiliary. She received her elementary and high school education at Ottawa, and then attended Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. She enjoyed her card club, traveling,, homemaking and reading. A funeral mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, April 29th, at 10 a.m. at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Breese with Rev. Patrick Peter officiating. Burial followed at St. Dominic/ St. Augustine Cemetery in Breese. Hempen Funeral Home in Breese handled the arrangements.
