She was born on April 24th, 1924, in East Fork Township, the daughter of Fred W. and Velma M. Adams Heinrich, and they preceded her in death. On March 9th, 1941, in St. Louis, Mo., she married Lester M. Troutt, and he survives in Sandoval. Also surviving are two daughters, Marsha Reckling of Shattuc and Sandra Turner of Willits, Calif.; two sisters, Velma Weeden of Fort Morgan, Colo., and Shirley Brinkmeyer of Centralia; four grandchil-dren and seven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Troutt grew up in Eastern Clinton County and lived all of her adult life in Sandoval. She worked at the Illinois Bell--telephone building in Centralia in maintenance, and she was a cook for the Sandoval High School for 10 years. She was a mem-ber of the Sandoval United Method-ist Church and a former member of the Moose Lodge in Centralia. She enjoyed spending time with her fam-ily. Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, Jan. 3rd, at 1:00 p.m. at the Day Funeral Home in Sandoval, with Rev. Clayton Coffey officiat-ing. Interment was in Hillcrest Cem-etery in rural Centralia. He was born on October 14, 1977, in Greenville, a son of David and Barbara (Sizemore) Ennen. He is survived by his mother, Barbara Roberts and husband Randy of Keyesport; his father, David Ennen and wife Kay of Smithboro; a sister, Susan Korte and husband Dan of Keyesport; two step-sisters, Melissa Schurdell and Ranae Rensing; a stepbrother, Billy Roberts and wife Cheryl; his grandparents, Ed Ennen of Mulberry Grove, Viola Ennen of Smithboro and McKinley and Mary Sizemore of Keyesport. He was preceded in death by a step-brother-in-law, Chuck Schurdell. He graduated from Carlyle High School in 1995 and was a co-owner of Creative Wireless Services in Greenville. He enjoyed boating, four-wheeling and motorcycles. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 5, at Zieren Day Funeral Home in Carlyle with Rev. Tom Hoffmann, officiating. Trueman Wheritt, 100, of Keyesport, entered into rest on Sunday, May 4, 2008, at Carlyle Healthcare Center in Carlyle. Mr. Wheritt was born in Keyesport on December 13, 1907, a son of John and Mamie (Lifritz) Wheritt. He married Juanita C. "Ruby" Carter on February 13, 1931, and she preceded him in death on September 21, 1984. Mr. Wheritt is survived by a daughter-in-law, Gloria Wheritt of Patoka; two grandchildren, SFC John Wheritt and wife Melissa of Ft. Campbell, Ky. and Lisa Wheritt of Herrin; five great grandchildren, PFC Christopher Isaak of Germany, Kyle Isaak of Herrin and Jonathon, Brenden and Paige Wheritt of Ft. Campbell; and a sister, Katherine Alexander of Carlyle. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a son, Robert Wheritt; a sister, Dott Wilk; and a brother, William Wheritt. He was a farmer. He owned and operated a general store in Keyesport for many years and also worked as a mortician. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 8, at Zieren Day Funeral Home in Carlyle.     3. Union Banner, Carlyle, IL, Dec 28, 2005, Page 2a/Col 4 Carl Saddler, 73 Carl Raymond "Pamper" Saddler, 73, of Sandoval died on Saturday, Dec. 24th, 2005, at St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia. Born in Sandoval on March 13th, 1932, he was the son of Beech and Viva Taylor Saddler. He married Marilyn A. Miller on July 22nd, 1955, at Sandoval, and she survives. Survivors also include one son, Kenneth Saddler of Sandoval; one grandchild; and one brother, Henry B. Saddler of Centralia. Preceding him in death was a brother, Harry Saddler. Living in Carlyle and McLeansboro before he returned to Sandoval, Saddler was a mechanic for Centralia Cartage and retired in 1987 after 30 years of service. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Centralia. He enjoyed fixing and repairing appliances and engines, and keeping things running. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Dec. 27th, at 11 a.m. at Day Funeral Home in Sandoval with the Rev. Gerald Goodman officiating. Burial followed in Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation was at the Day Funeral Home in Sandoval. He was born Nov. 6th, 1925, in Carlyle, the son of Frank and Helen Hilmes Kueper, and they preceded him in death. He married Ethel "Sandy" Albers on Jan. 17th, 1951, at St. Mary's Church in Carlyle and she precedded him in death on Dec. 19th, 1999. Survivors include two sons, Ken Kueper and Gary Kueper of Carlyle; and a daughter, Lynn Kueper of Carlyle; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a brother, Wilfred "Willie" Kueper of Carlyle and two sisters, Dorothy Buchmiller of Highland and Mildred Huff of Del Ray Beach, Fla. Along with his parents and wife he was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond Kueper and Gilbert Kueper. Kueper owned the Scoreboard Tavern in Carlyle for many years and served as the Clinton County Treasurer for many terms. He served in the Army during WWII and was called back into active duty for the Korean Conflict. He graduated from St. Mary's High School, was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Goldsmith-Terry Veteran's of Foreign War Post 3523 of Carlyle, the Knights of Columbus Council 1382 and the Clinton County Licensed Beverage Association. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 31st, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Church in Carlyle with Father George Mauck officiating. Barial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. Born on June 6th, 1925, in Bartelso, he was the son of August and Mary Loepker Gramann. He married Lucille Haake on Aug. 16th, 1949, at St. Boniface Church in Germantown, and she survives in Germantown. Survivors also include two daughters, Karen Albu and Colette Strieker, both of Germantown; Steve Gramann and Ron Gramann, both of Breese; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mary Frances Haake of Germantown. A retired communications supervisor at Scott Air Force Base, Gramann was active in the community. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and Men's Sodality, past commander, of the Germantown American Legion Post 325, Breese Knights of Columbus Council 2869, Mater Dei Fathers and Friends where he served as treasurer for 40 years, co-founder of the Germantown Community Development, past president of the Germantown School Board where he served for 20 years, and he was a U.S. Navy veteran where he served on the U.S.S. Lewis. Funeral mass will be today, Wednesday, July 6th, at 10 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown with the Rev. Father Stephen Humphrey officiating. Burial will follow in St. Boniface Cemetery. Visitation was on Tuesday at Moss Funeral Home in Germantown. Services were held by the Germantown American Legion and the Breese Knights of Columbus prayed the rosary Tuesday night. He was 71 years old. Born in Aviston township on Oct. 8th, 1930, he was a son of Bernard and Anna Rakers Wolters. On May 1st, 1956, in St. Rose, he married Helen Schrage, and she survives. Additional survivors include two sons, Dan and Duane Wolters, both of Breese; one granddaughter; three brothers, Otto Wolters of Aviston, Ray Wolters of Trenton and Wilbert Wolters of Breese and four sisters, Henrietta Beckmann of Aviston, Sally Barth of St. Rose, Mrs. Edna Rosen of Trenton and Mrs. Mary Ann Becker of Germantown. Mr. Wolters was a Korean War Veteran and member of Breese American Legion. He was a retired truck driver for Kohnen Concrete Products in Germantown. He was a member of St. Dominic's Church in Breese where services were held at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday). Rev. Chuck Tuttle officiated with burial in St. Dominic-St. Augustine's cemetery in Breese. Visitation was at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese. A son of Benedict and Cecilia Schrage Huelsmann, he was born in St. Rose township on Aug. 8th, 1920. He married Marcella Schroer in St. Louis on April 26th, 1944. She died Feb. 18th, 1995. Survivors include two sons, Paul Huelsmann of Beaver Prairie and Francis Huelsmann of St. Rose; two daughters, Mrs. Rosann Gebke of Breese and Mrs. Geriann Fitzgerald of Waterloo; 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and three brothers, Andrew Huelsmann of Aviston, Clarence Huelsmann of St. Rose and Marcellus Huelsmann of Beckemeyer. Mr. Huelsmann was a member of St. Rose Church in St. Rose, Men's Sodality of the church and Clinton County Farm Bureau. Services were held at St. Rose church at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15th. Rev. Edward Schaefer officiated with burial in the church cemetery. The Moss Funeral Home in Breese was in charge of arrangements. Feldmann of Aviston will be held at St. Francis Church in Aviston at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 15th. Rev. Dan Friedman will officiate with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Feldmann died at Caring First Nursing Home in Breese on Tuesday, March 13th, 2001. She was 87 years old. Born in St. Rose on April 16th, 1913, she was a daughter of Henry and Catherine Grapperhaus Holtgrave. She married Bernard "Barney" Feldmann in St. Rose on Oct. 10th, 1934, and he died Dec. 21st, 1973. Mrs. Feldmann's survivors include four sons, Lawrence Feldmann of Posey, Richard and Herbert Feldmann of Aviston and Pete Feldmann of Highland; two daughters, Mrs. Bernice Langhauser of Breese and Mary Ann Gent of Tinley Park; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren and one sister, Linda Hoh of Decatur. Four brothers, Lawrence, Vincent, John and Msgr. Elmer Holtgrave and one sister, Loretta Imming, preceded him in death. Visitation is after 4 p.m. today (Wednesday) and from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the brefeld Funeral Home in Aviston. "Bob" Klostermann, died at St. Joseph's Hospital in Breese on Monday, Jan. 22nd, 2001, at the age of 60 years. A son of Joseph and Frances Heimann Klostermann, he was born in Highland on Oct. 5th, 1940. On Aug. 15th, 1964, in Highland, he married Leann Stoecklin, and she survives. Other survivors include three sons, Michael Klostermann of Salem, Steven Klostermann of Bloomington and Paul Klostermann of Breese; three daughters, Laurie Klostermann of Nashville, Mrs. Lynn McSparin of Highland and Leah Klostermann of Breese; one granddaughter; two brothers, Vincent Klostermann of Greenville and Joseph Klostermann of Breese and four sisters, Mrs. Catherine Koerkenmeier of Highland, Mrs. Margaret Richter of Trenton, Mrs. Edith Gerhard of Little Rock, Ark., and Mrs. Helen Burk of Jacksonville. A sister, Dolores Weinheimer, preceded him in death. Mr. Klostermann taught at Mater Dei High school in Breese from 1963-1967 and then at the University of Wisconsin from 1968-1970. >From 1970-1981, he served as principal at Mater Dei. He currently was an agent for State Farm Insurance with an office in Breese. He was a member of St. Dominic's Church in Breese, Bishop Althoff Fourth Degree Assembly, member and past Grand Knight of the Breese Knights of Columbus, former president and current secretary of St. Dominic's parish council and St. Dominic ministries. He also was a former assistant regional superintendent of schools for Clinton/Washington counties, member of Mater Dei Fathers and Friends, former board member and advisory council of St. Joseph's Hospital in Breese and Mater Dei Hall of Honor honoree. Rev. Patrick Peter will officiate at services at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 25th, at St. Dominic's. Burial will follow in St. Dominic-St. Augustine's cemetery in Breese. Visitation is at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese from 4 to 9 p. m. today (Wednesday) and from 8 to 9:45 a.m. Thursday. Born on Aug. 8th, 1918, in Breese, he was the son of Frederick and Ernestine Habich Becker. He married Juliana Woltering on June 18th, 1946, at St. Augustine Church in Breese, and she survives. Survivors also include three sons, John Becker, Charles Becker and James Becker, all of Breese; four daughters, Margaret Foppe, Barbara Von Alst and Julia Becker, all of Breese, and Alicia Smith of Houston, Tex.; 21 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. Becker was preceded in death by four brothers, Melvin Becker, Victor Becker, John Becker and Edward Becker. Establishing the Joseph F. Becker Masonry in Breese in 1948, he was a lifelong member of St. Dominic Parish and Men's Sodality. He was a member of Breese Knights of Columbus Council 2869, honorary member of Breese Lions Club and a Melvin Jones Award recipient, a life member of Southern Illinois Building Association, and a member and past commander of the Breese American Legion Post 252. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during WWII. Funeral services were held on Friday, Sept. 30th, at 10 a.m. at St. Dominic Church in Breese with the Rev. Father Patrick Peter officiating. Burial followed in St. Dominic/ St. Augustine Cemetery in Breese. Visitation was held at the Hempen Funeral Home in Breese. The Lions Club, the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion attended the visitation. Born on July 25th, 1935, in Aviston, she was the daughter of Bernard and Anna (Rakers-Mank) Wolters, and they preceded her in death. She married Albert "Tossie" Becker on Sept. 23rd, 1953, at St. Francis Church in Aviston, and he survives in Germantown. Survivors also include two daughters, Judy Becker of Germantown and Debbie Hegger of Hopkinton, Mass.; two sons, Ron "Emmitt" Becker and Allan Becker, both of Germantown; seven grandchildren; three brothers, Otto Wolters of Aviston, Ray Wolters of Trenton and Wilbert Wolters of Breese; and two sisters Henrietta Beckmann of Aviston and Sally Barth of St. Rose. Becker was preceded in death by three brothers, Edward Wolters, Bernard Wolters and Victor Wolters; and two sisters, Edna Rosen and Sylvia Becker. A member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and Altar Sodality, Becker and her husband co-founded Germantown Egg Co. She was an avid golfer and euchre and bingo player. Funeral services were today, Wednesday, May 25th, at 11 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown with the Rev. Father Stephen Humphrey officiating. Burial followed at St. Boniface Cemetery in Germantown. Visitation was at Moss Funeral Home in Germantown.
