Schrage, 90, of Highland, and formerly of Breese, died Saturday, Nov. 22nd, 2003, at Highland Healthcare Center in Highland. She was born on November 3rd, 1913, in Aviston, the daughter of Fred and Theresia Voss Ratermann, and they preceded her in death. She married Leonard F. Schrage on Oct. 5th, 1937, at St. Francis Church in Aviston, and he survives in Highland. Also surviving are two sons, Dale Schrage of Santa Fe, N.M., and Kenneth Schrage of Leawood, Kan. ; and two brothers, Victor Ratermann of St. Libory and Frank Ratermann of Aviston. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Joseph, Otto, Robert and Arthur Ratermann; and five sisters, Pauline and Kate Boeckmann, Mary Niebur, Martha Altepeter and Ann Nordman. Mrs. Schrage was a homemaker and an avid quilter in which she dedicated her time to charity at 'St. Joseph's Hospital in Breese. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Highland and a former member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and Altar Sodality in Breese. Funeral mass will be conducted on Wednesday, Nov. 26th, at 10 a.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Breese, with Fr. Patrick Peter officiating. Interment will follow in St. Dominic-St. Augustine Cemetery in Breese. Visitation will be this evening, Tuesday, Nov. 25th, from 4 to 9 p.m. and again on Wednesday, Nov. 26th, from 8 to 9:45 a.m. at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese. She was born on February 20th, 1912, in Beckemeyer, the daughter of Herman and Gertrude Fehlker Lammers, and they preceded her in death. On February 6th, 1935, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Beckemeyer, she married Lawrence Kampwerth, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 9th, 1961. Surviving are a daughter, Helen Vahlkamp of Carlyle; a son, Stan Kampwerth of Bartelso, and 19 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by five sons, Marcel, Leroy, Lawrence "Turk", Thomas and Cyril Kampwerth; one grandson; two brothers, Leo and Vince Lammers; and two sisters, Adeline Beer and Helen Timmermann. Mrs. Kampwerth was a retired cook from Mater Dei High School in Breese. She was a member of the Altar Sodality and St. Anthony Catholic Church, where her funeral. mass was celebrated on Saturday, Nov. 29th, at 10 a.m., with Fr. Chuck Tuttle officiating. He was born on April 16th, 1943, in Highland, the son of Bernard and Elvera Seefeldt Deimeke. He was raised by Herman and Clara Dall Wesselmann. On April 25th, 1987, at St. Bernard Church in Albers, he married Bonnie Hegger, and she survives in Trenton. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Joseph, Daniel and Mark Deimeke, all of Trenton; two brothers, Vincent and Melvin Deimeke, both of Trenton; and two sisters, Donna Martin of Village, Fla., and Mary Lue Bange of Pierron. Mr. Deimeke was an engineer with the Clinton County Highway Department and a farmer. He was a member of St. Mary Church and men's sodality in Trenton. He was a director for the Sugar Creek Ambulance Service and Tempo Bank. He was also a member and trustee of Trenton Knights of Columbus and past Grand Knights, a member of Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree Bishop Althoff Assembly and past Faithful Navigator, a former District Deputy for the Illinois State Knights of Columbus, a member of Trenton American Legion Post 778, and had served as a Trenton Cub Scout Den leader. In May of 2003, Junior, his wife Bonnie and sons Joseph, Daniel and Mark were honored by the Illinois State Knights of Columbus at their annual convention in Springfield by being named "Illinois Knights of Columbus Family of the Year for 2003". A funeral mass was conducted on Monday, Dec. 1st, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Church in Trenton, with Fr. James Dougherty officiating. Interment was in St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation was at Moss Funeral Home in Trenton. On June 15th, 1948, at St. Boniface Church in Germantown, she married Marcel J. "Bud" Hustedde, and he preceded her in death on May 25th, 1985. Surviving are a son, William M. Hustedde of Belleville; two daughters, Jan Schwierjohn and Deb Wuebbels, both of Germantown; four grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren and one sister, Anne Loehr of Collinsville. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Lawrence, Joe and Paul Frerker; and three sisters, Marie Calliott, Kac Koch and Agnes Lampe. Mrs. Hustedde was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary's Altar Sodality. On April 27th, 1954, at St. Rose Catholic Church in St Rose; he married Bertha Schrage, and she survives in St. Rose. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a son, Kent Kampwerth of Troy; five daughters, Gerene Gramlich of Cary, N.C., Sharon Knuf of Highland, Judy Rhoades of Liberty, MO., June Timmermann of Maumelle, Ariz., and Jill Boysha of Fairview Heights; nine grandchildren; a brother, Leonard Kampwerth of Carlyle; and three sisters, Alice Kerkemeyer of Collinsville, Dodie Blum of San Antonio, Texas, and Sr. Annemarie Kampwerth, PHJC, of Whiting, Ind. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Kampwerth. He was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church and Men's Sodality, St. Rose Development Club, Breese American Legion Post 252, where he served as a past service officer, Breese Knights of Columbus Council 2869 and a volunteer at St. Joseph's Hospital in Breese. She was born on May 9th, 1946, in Germantown, the daughter of Sophie Langenhorst Pingsterhaus and the late Bernard "Ben" Pingsterhaus. Her mother survives in Germantown. On Oct. 15th, 1966, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown, she married Herbert "Herb" Haselhorst, and he preceded her in death on May 1st, 1992. She then married Dennis Hollenkamp on May 19th, 2001, at St. Damian Catholic Church in Damiansville, and he survives in Damiansville. Also survivng are five sons, Curt Haselhorst of Aviston, Todd Haselhorst of Houston, TX, Brad Haselhorst of Allen, TX, Rodney Haselhorst of St. Louis, MO, and Kurt Hollenkamp of St. Louis, MO; a daughter, Lisa Hollenkamp of O'Fallon; Five brothers, Norbert Pingsterhaus of Germantown, Herb Pingsterhaus of Carlyle,. David Pingsterhaus of Damiansville, Paul Pingsterhaus of Anna, TX, and Glennon Pingsterhaus of Germantown; and a sister, Ruth Spihlmann of Germantown. Mrs. Hollenkamp was a member of St. Damian Catholic Church and Altar Sodailty. She was very involved in her church and community and was an avid golfer. Betty was employed as the office manager at State Farm Insurance Agency in Trenton. A Mass of Resurrection was held on Sat., August 30th, at 10 a.m. at St. Damian Catholic Church in Damiansville, with Fr. James Nall and Fr. Vincent Haselhorst officiating. Interment was in St. Damian Cemetery in Damiansville. Visitation was at Moss Funeral Home in Germantown. She was born in Ferrin on Oct. 22nd, 1938, the daughter of Martin and Frieda Kleiboeker Hugo, and they preceded her in death. On Sept. 17th, 1957, at Messiah Lutheran Church in Carlyle, she married Robert Fruend, and he survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Debra Fruend of St. Louis, Mo., Kelly Price of Carlyle and Heather Athmer of Highland; four grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Blumenkamp and Ruth Ann Essington, both of Quincy, and a brother, Don Hugo of St. Charles; Mo. Mrs. Fruend was an active member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Ferrin and the Ladies Aid Group. She was a weekday religion teacher, a Sunday School teacher and was cochairman of the 100th Anniversary committee at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. She had been a clerk at Hugo Elevator and Sterling's Clothing store both in Carlyle, and was a self employed wallpaper hanger. Funeral services will be conducted on Wed., December 24th, at 10 a.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Ferrin, with Rev. James Gullen officiating. Interment will follow in Carlyle Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday, Dec. 23rd, from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. and on Wednesday, Dec. 24th, from 9:00 a.m. until service time. He was born on April 6th, 1911, near Posey, the son of August and Elizabeth Daum Nolte, Sr. He married Helen Yardley in Ferrin on August 23rd, 1943, and she survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Ruth Holland of Carbondale and Debra Albers of Huey; seven sons, James and Robert Nolte, both of luka, Earl Nolte of Odin, George Nolte of Sandoval and Jerry, David and Bradley Nolte, all of Boulder; 29 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Timmy Nolte; three sisters, Edna Bennett, Clara Speiser and Anna Yardley; and two brothers, August Nolte, Jr., and Bill Nolte. Mr. Nolte was a retired farmer and a member of the Clinton County Farm Bureau. He enjoyed spending time with his large family and loved the outdoors, hunting, trapping and fishing. He was also a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Ferrin, where his funeral services were conducted today, Wed., December 3rd, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Perry Schefelker officiating.
