Netemeyer (?Ed). I've noticed several references to the name in this area, and wonder if he was from this area. He served in the US Army Air Force, maybe at the end of WWII or just later. He worked in Chico California shortly after that. I have his personal property that I would like to return to the family. Please contact me if you have any information to share. Thank You.

I forgot mention that the St. Louis Library has this program available on two computers on the second floor. Word is that the printer copies of the images are poor, (I've not had this problem, but it could be the printer at the library is not high quality), but you can locate the proper info on the program, and then go downstairs to the microfilm area and make a copy directly from the microfilm. For those not in St Louis area, you might want to call a larger library near you to see if they have this program. Laura
For those who would like to access ancestry.com's subscriber databases for free, there is a program available at larger libraries that makes this possible. The program in called AncestryPlus, and when used at a subscribing library, gives you all the benefits and features of ancestry.com without charge. Databases on Ancestry include Census images for all Census years; however, not all years are indexed. The 1870, 1880, and 1900 censuses are not indexed; however the others are and most of the images are easily readable. You can print a copy of the image if your library has printing facilities. Also included in Ancestry databases are historical newspaper images, UK & Ireland records, Canadian records, Immigration records, and much more. You can access the AncestryPlus website from home at <A HREF="http://www.gale.ancestry.com/ggmain.htm"> http://www.gale.ancestry.com/ggmain.htm</A> but you will be unable to to access the subscription databases as you must to a library that has this program in order to do so. Tip from Ancestry subscriber: It's kinda hidden away, but right under the search button in the main search area is a link to "advanced search" where you can limit your search to an area, a time span, and/or a "keyword". This is especially helpful if you are looking for Johnson or Smith names and has worked much better for me than using "soundex". Anyone using this program who finds they have problems or can't figure how to print an image, feel free to contact me and I will try to assist. Happy Hunting! Laura

I am trying to find some information on a Peter J. Sennerich who owned a farm outside of Trenton before his death in March 1920. He married in 1900 to a Mary Alblinger and they had a son named George who was born about 1915 from what I can tell. I don't have much more on them except that Peter was in the midst of selling his farm when he died. Would anyone have access to any records that would give me more info on George's birthdate (he is in the 1920 census as being 5 years old) or on the possible land sell? Would there be an obit available from any local newspapers? Any help appreciated.
I have a Henry Huelsman born 1842 and died dec 19, 1920 buried in St. Anthony, Lively Grove, IL. married Anna Mazander. I don't believe they had children. Anna Mazander was a sister to my G-Great Grandmother Louise Mazander Budde. The Huelsmann's raised the two youngest Budde Children. If this could help, Please feel free to contact me. Hi, Jamie, The Illinois State marriage data base is at http://www.sos.state.il.us/departments/archives/marriage.html . First, just put in the surnames for Smith and Godell. Try it, you'll like it. Guaranteed. No additional information will be available except for the minister's name. Then for the others in the family, just put in the surname for the groom statewide, you'll see what counties Godells married in during what years. Then check the brides statewide. You'll have to query on each alternate spelling. In the 1860 census, household 375, everyone born in Europe: Godell, Nicholas, farmer, 55 Barbara, 54 John, 30, laborer Nicholas 19, laborer Louis, 18, laborer Augustus 17, laborer Mary 16 - Household 374: Godell, George, 25, farmer, Europe Nancy, 31, IL Jesse, 12, IL Sarah, 9, IL Lear 7, IL William, 4, IL Mary, 4 mo. We have 3 searchers online, some will be duplicate entries. First is the "Search Our Site for your Clinton County ancestors surnames". Second one is in the next sentence following the first one - "Clinton County Surname Helper" - call up the alphabet letter that you want and then call up the subshred. The 3rd one is under "Cemetery Records", I see the daughter-in-law. Remembering the condition of that cemetery, I'd bet many of both families are buried there, perhaps with wooden crosses that have disintegrated. Happy hunting, come back to me privately for further questions after you heard from others.
