Hi everyone, I'm new to the list and thought I would throw this out to see if anyone can help. (X-finger's crossed!!) I'm looking for information on the following: John N. and Deborah Jones left Tippecanoe Co., IN, and went to Clay Co. in the late 1830's. His brother, Edmund, and his wife, Frances, also went to Clay Co. about the same time. Edmund Jones was married second to Rachel Bissey 1844 in Clay co., also her second marriage. Her children by her first marriage were Jackson, William and Mary Bissey. John N. Jones died ca. 1845-47 in Clay Co. and I found his widow, Deborah, in Morgan Co., IL, in 1850, living near Edmund and Rachel. I cannot find them after this time, but I do think that Rachel's son, Jackson, returned to Clay co. aft. 1850. Did his mother follow him? What happened to Deborah and her children? There was also a brother, Thomas, but I have no clue whatsoever about what became of him. Did he also go to IL? I would like to hear from anyone regarding these families. I am trying to trace the descendants of William and Elizabeth Jarrett Jones, and have lost the trail on Edmund and his sister-in-law Deborah. ANY information greatly appreciated!! Adina Watkins Dyer
