A Jacob Dean is listed in the Clay Co. History as being there c. 1821. There is also an Abigail Dean in the 1830 census with three children. I believe those children to be Elizabeth Ann DEAN, Lewis DEAN and Ephraim DEAN. Lewis' son George b. 1857 later lived in Clay Co.
