Searching for information regarding John Henry Phillips and his ancestery. He was the son of Henry Phillips and Pheobe Franklin. Both Henry and Pheobe lived and died in Clay Co. and their son John lived with his grandparents Henry Franklin and Catherine Stansbury in 1860, in Clay Co. We don't know what became of his widowed grandfather John P. Phillips, after the death of his wife Permelia Stallings about 1850, or who John P. Phillips father may have been.
