I am looking for our family bible and don't know where to look. Henry Philips married Pheobe Franklin in 1851 in Clay Co, IL. They had my g-gf, John Henry Phillips, March 1854. Henry died Nov 1854 and Phoebe died Sept 1857. John Henry was raised by Pheobe's parents, Henry Franklin and Catherine Stansbury. John Henry told a cousin that he left the family bible with the Franklin family in IL when he moved to Texas abt 1877. Does anyone know if there is a museum or something in Clay Co, IL where old bibles are preserved? Thanks, Wanda
