I've been doing genealogy for about 7 yrs and I have become a collector of 48th IL civil war items. My 3rd great-grandfather was Pvt Henry Nash of company B from Clay county. At the time he lived in Biblegrove and he died in Effingham. I'm looking for anything from him while he was in the war and anything from the 48th regiment. If anyone has any item from the 48th please contact me even if its not for sale.I have a very strong interest in the 48th and the men that made up the regiment.
