This is for all you SONGER researchers out there. In a nutshell, I see that a GILES SONGER was found in the 1840 census. He was between the ages of 30-40. Then in the 1850 Census I see a JILES M. SONGER, age 26. First off, does anyone know if this JILES M. is the son of GILES SONGER? My next question is that in the 1850 Grundy Co., MO Census, I see a GILES SONGER, age 31, wife's name is Nancy age 30. Would any of you SONGER researchers happen to know if this GILES in MO., relates to any of the one's from Clay Co., IL?? The reason I ask this is that living right next door to this SONGER family in the Grundy Co., MO Census is a NOAH COLCLASURE family. I have had a heck of a time trying to figure out who this Noah belongs to. Now I am wondering if perhaps GILES SONGER and NOAH COLCLASURE might have come out to MO. together from Clay Co., IL. Any ideas, thoughts, or hard facts much appreciated. I can use all the help I can get. If you think I should add more info (like childrens names) let me know and I'll post them to the list. Thanks so much and I'll keep my fingers crossed.... Tricia Colcleasure Carothers bcaroth@jps.net
