Looking for information on the Stephen Simmons family. I do not know anything about him, other than he was born in Illinois and he was married to Elizabeth W. Hill, who was born abt. 1830. She died in Hoosier Twp. on 9/14/1905. Her birthplace was listed as New Hampshire. Her daughter was Mrs. John W. Smith of Sailor Springs/Hoosier Twp area. According to her death record in 1925, the birthplace for her mother is listed as Vermont.
