Wish I lived close enough to help! I guess it's time to post my information for Clay Co. I'm still looking for death info for my particular Isaac CREECH (this is NOT the same Isaac Creech born to William O. Creech ca 1860, Lee Co.) who was b. ca 1847-49 in either Lee Co, VA or Harlan Co, KY. He married Elizabeth PATRIDGE 20 Dec 1868 in CLAY Co, IL. I don't have a death date for him; however, I presume he died before 12 Oct 1893 because Elizabeth remarried Joseph TRAVIS at that point. Would anyone know what may have happened to Elizabeth and her 2nd husband Joseph? Did they leave for MO like some of the other TRAVIS'? Here are the children(known) of Isaac Creech/Elizabeth Patridge: 1. Thomas Creech, b. ca Feb 1872 2. Elmer (Kile) Creech, b. ca 1873 3. Benjamin Franklin Creech, b. 17 Oct 1876, m. 18 Oct 1900 to Arvilla WILLIAMS, d. 6 Feb 1935. 4. John Creech, b. 10 Dec 1879. Benjamin and Arvilla were my g-grandparents. I am also looking for any information regarding Arvilla WILLIAMS' parents: Benjamin Harrison WILLIAMS b. ca 1812 TN (??) and married Cintha Ann RICHARDSON 15 Jul 1872 (Clay Co., IL). I know that this was at least his 2nd - if not 3rd- marriage. I don't have any death info/whereabouts on him or her. I've written away for info and have paid someone to help find info on all the above; however, not much has been discovered. For the marriage registries, are there any back-up info regarding the parents of those that married? How hard is it to get probate info? The Clay Co court folks have been very nice about trying to look for my requests for inquiries-my thanks to them! Sorry this is so long, I have more to share and am willing to work with anyone in trying to get documentation. Thanks! Laura. --part0_910551774_boundary--
