I'm research my grandmother's family. Vera Jane Roberts Nix was the daughter of John Wesley Roberts and Hettie Blair. After John died in 1897, Hettie married James Gharst. John W. was the son of Jesse D. Roberts and Sarah C. French. Jesse was the son of Thomas D. and Mary Boles Robards. The name was changed so Jesse could get his Civil War pension. Hettie Blair was the daughter of George Blair and Eliza Jane Willis. George Blair was the son of Josiah Blair and Hattie Ray. Eliza Jane Willis was the daughter of William Willis and Nancy Eytchison.
