Hi, I know info about the Colclasure family has been posted to the list, but I deleted those messages. I didn't remember them saying anything about my Moores though. I was wondering about Nancy Colclasure b. 1822 in Indiana who was living with Samuel B. Moore Sr. in 1850 in Clay County, Ill. Two Colclasure children (I assume they were hers) Sarah b. 1840 Illinois and John b. 1842 in Illinois were living in the househeld. Did Samuel and Nancy ever get married? She couldn't have been his daughter since all his kids were born in Ohio. Did they have any children? Who was her first husband? and what was her maiden name? I know these are a lot of questions but I am very excited since I went to the archives today and made a major breakthrough on the identity of Sylvester Moore's parents! You see I believe Samuel was his father so I hope you can help with the identity of Nancy (she wasn't his mother though). Any help will be greatly appreciated.
