I'm new to research in this county. Can someone tell me what newspaper may have printed obituaries for Taylorville in 1934 and 1938? Also, do the publications still exist, or is there a library or society who would provide copies by mail? I'm looking for the surname SWEDICK/SCHWITTECK. Gottlieb SCHIETEK (9/30/1850-3/12/1934) immigrated from Germany, though I have no year for that yet. He married Augusta SCHULTZ (1860-1938). They were members of Trinity Lutheran Church and are buried at Oak Hill Cemetery. I have children's names, but would love any family detail anyone could share, and am happy to do the same. Thanks.
