The Breeze Courier is the present day newspaper for Taylorville. It was the local paper for the time period you are seeking. You can probably write the newspaper as they have microfilm copies and a printer. You could also get the microfilm on interlibrary loan from the state Historical library. I think you can also send to the Illinois State Historical and get a copy of the obituary form them. I do not know the fees charged by the newspaper or the Historical Library.
