Sarah's 2nd marriage: HEWITT, Ira abt. 1807 - Dec. 25, 1867 HEWITT, Sarah Francis 1817 - Sept. 14, 1910 They returned to Christian Co., probably Stonington area, 1867. Sarah Francis, sometimes referred to as Francis Sarah HEWITT lived rest of her life in the Stonington area, and buried at Old Stonington Cemetery. She made her home much of the time with her son Gideon B. CLAUSSEN, and attended the Old Stonington Baptist Church.
