Looking for information about my great aunt, REAGENE "RENA" (BILYEU) McPHEETERS. Sometime between 1956 and 1959, she was prospecting for oil near her old home in Christian County. She was born December 11 or 13, 1877, the daughter of Isaac & Effadilla (Workman) Bilyeu. Refer to WORKMAN FAMILY HISTORY, Page 87. Rena had a stroke in December in 1959, only a few miles from her birthplace at Moweaque. She died April 17, 1960, and is buried in Forest Hill Cemetery in Kansas City, Missouri.
