I was just at the Christian County Historical Society & Genealogical Society Library and it was very nice. The hours were posted as Wed-Sat 10 am to 4 pm and on Sun 1 pm - 4 pm. As long as you are in the area, check out the Decatur Genealogical Society Library also. We stoppe there and they have a very nice library with many resources from Shelby County as well as Christian County and of course Macon County. There hours were Mon 10-6pm, Wed and Sat 10-4pm.. They are closed the last 2 weeks of August thru Labor Day according to the information I picked up. Great Libraries and very helpful staff. Good luck..... Gary K.
