Hello - This is my first post to this newsletter. I am seeking info on a James Wilson Bishop who married a Mary Mead(e) in Ohio in 1850. He is listed on the 1860 Christian Co. IL Census, P.925. Dwelling #1981 Family #1876 James W. Bishop 31 m farmer 200 VT Mary 29 f PA David 7 m OH Eunice 4 f OH George 2 m Mich John Bishop 18 m OH William Bishop 15 m OH The John and William that are listed are believed to be brothers of James W. I have traced John from this point on, but can find nothing prior to 1860. He enlisted in the Union Forces in Pana, Illinois in 1861. John Bishop is my g-grandfather. If anyone has any info on the above family or can connect in any way, I would appreciate any info that you would care to share. I also am unable to trace James W. any further until the 1880 Greene County MO census. Thanks so much. Shirley
