For Linda Reynolds: Have you seen the 1880 History of Christian Co IL? It contains short articles, among other things, about prominent citizens at that period. On p 242 is the one on Dial DAVIS, b in Sangamon Co IL 10 January, 1826. His father, John DAVIS, a native of TN, married Sarah D MILLIGAN near Nashville.
