At the end of the Civil War, my g-g grandfather, JOHN JACOB FATZER, married ROSANNA ZIMMERMAN of Taylorsville, Christian County, Illinois and moved directly to Kansas with his Civil War buddies (an Illinois infantry regiment). They lost total contact with the Taylorsville Zimmerman's. ROSANNA's parents are CHRISTIAN ZIMMERMAN and ANNA (STRITES) ZIMMERMAN...both first generation Swiss immigrants. I understand there was a fairly large contingent of Zimmermans living in Taylorsville during the last half of the 19th century. Hopefully, this "rings a bell with someone out there"...I'm really stuck on this line. Tom Wilson Boca Raton, FL
