Hello All, I would like to communicate with any descendants of William PORTER born 1816 who married Susanna CRIBBS born 1820 or anyone researching this line. I am also trying to find a set of books tilted " Howe's History". My deceased aunt gave this history as the source for my PORTER line. She stated, "These volumes can be found in the Chicago Library- Institute of American Genealogy". It seems to be a historical sketch of those who fought in the Revolutionary War.
