Much of this information we have gotten off the internet searches. His GGgrandfather was Martin Hanon, b. Apr 1799 in Nashville, Davidson Co., TN; d. 5 Apr 1879 in Sharpsburg, Christian Co., IL; married to Sarah Miller, b. 1804 in PA or KY; d. 28 May 1862 in Sangamon Co., IL, married 10 Oct 1823 in Shawneetown, Gallitin Co., IL.
