Sally, I have found out just recently that John Cole had other children with his second wife. I did not know they existed. He had William and Josephine and Alice by his first marriage to Elisabeth Hunter, after her death he married Eliza Foster they had 4 children John, George,Charles, J.B. On the 1880 census Eliza is a widow, J.B. is 6mo old. John Cole the son was 10 at that time. Chuck Cole told me that we have a lot of cousins in and around Mt.Auburn area.
