    3. Lynn: I don't have anybody in your family, but I would like to welcome you. With your years of genealogy research, you will be able to help others. Dave Richey - Fort Worth Lynn Walker Armstrong <lynnarmstrong@juno.com> wrote: DATE: Fri Mar 21 17:43:04 2003 NAME: Lynn Walker Armstrong EMAIL: lynnarmstrong@juno.com URL: QRYTEXT: I have just this moment signed up with Christian County IL. I have problems getting started. I am 61 and started on the computer at age 55. I have been doing genealogy research for ca 25 years. My great, great grandfather Daniel E. Walker and his wife Rachael Miller and all of their 8 children came to IL in 1839 and settled in Sangaman County and then were in Christian County in the 1850 census. I have been working on them for over 20 years and I am so glad I found you nice people. I do not have a URL and I do not understand the concept. None of my information is on the computer and I have been wanting to start sharing my information but did not know where to start or how to start. I have a great, great, great uncle that lived all of his adult life in Christian County. He died in 1911 and was the first person to be buried in the Oak Hill Abbey at Oak Hill Cemetery. I have an obituary from the Breeze Currier but the print is reversed. The back ground is black and the print is white. The man is J. P.(James Parker) Walker. There is a picture of him and a picture of the new Mausoleum but they do not show up. I would like to have a picture of my uncle and one of the Oat Hill Abbey. I will send a copy of the article to you to put in your records.
