HELLO Bulpitt was a little bit of wide spot in a curve just west side of Kincaid IL. My grandparnets lived there all of their lives. I used to ride all over there even before they built the lake their between Bulpitt and Tovey. Bulpitt did have a couple of stores and such. Its still there and it never did have a high population. But those areas are growing up so much and especially since its close to the lake now, the prices have went up too. I remember Bulpitt with its 3 land bowling alley and its abt 2 blocks either direction here and there. It was a small spread out place. That abt what I can remember of it right now. They do have a K of C hall there now too.Kincaid was a lot bigger than Bulpitt, a lot bigger. Its spread out and most of the old timers and families that used to live in both places were coal miners of the Peabody and or Crown Mines. My grandpa was one of them too. The place has really grown up since I have been gone over 20 yrs now. We went back for a visit a few yrs ago and I could see the changes then and can only guess what its looks like now.
