Hello all, I just joined this list to broaden my never ending family searches. The first family that I am looking for is: Absolom (Absolum) Johnson who was born in 1825 in Madison county Kentucky. He migrated through Indiana and ended up in Taylorville, Christian Co. He arrived in Taylorville between 1857 & 1859. He was married to Permelia Jane Jones born 1828 in Kentucky and died Jan 1, 1866 in Taylorville, Christian Co, IL. Children: James D, 1849 Evaline, 1851 Joseph, 1852 Mary Ann, 1856 Melvina E, 1859 Sarah Ann, 1862 After Permelia died he married Mary Finley, moved to MO and had Charles & Eliza.
