    2. Online there is one website for Taylorville which gives options of various city departments. One is Oak Hill Cemetery, which when a surname is entered all with that surname come up with info. You can choose which one you are interested and you will get more info. Mangoav@aol.com

    3. ************************************************************************************** WHITE FAMILY REUNION http://www.rootsweb.com/~ilchrist/ ************************************************************************************ The annual WHITE family reunion will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2003 in Taylorville, Illinois at the Christian County Extension Office, 1120 North Webster St. CRAIG WHITE settled in Sangamon County, Illinois in 1830, acquiring land and farming in Cotton Hill Twp. and surrounding area. Craig & Sally WHITE had 13 children. They eventually retired from farming and moved to Pana, where they lived their remaining years. Sally WHITE died in 1870, Craig WHITE died in 1878. Any descendants of CRAIG & SALLY WHITE are invited to attend, as well as anyone else that may be interested. A casual event, we enjoy a potluck meal, visiting, sharing family stories, photos, etc. The gathering usually starts around 12 - 12:30 p.m. Any questions- sajake@ezl.com

    2. Yes, Johanna Beyers did die on 6/30/1931, but on her gravestone it is 6-31......... I thought that was an interesting mistake since there is no 6/31 Her G-granddaughter and family historian, Shelly

Claudius "Claude" HARBERT, Nov. 15, 1891, Macon Co., IL. Jenny's parents lived in Macon, Macon Co., IL, at one time, but later rented one of the DUDLEY farms near Millersville, Christian Co., IL.     2. We visited the Taylorville Cemetary last year. For those who have never seen it, it is huge and quite amazing. There must have been a minimum size headstone- large. This huge Cemetary is filled with huge stones throughout, and the setting is quite lovely. Interestingly, my g-grandmother, Johanna Beyers who is buried ther has the date on her headstone of 6/31................ Shelly

    3. A good friend of my brother's while in high school was Terry Harbert - my brother Joe & Terry both graduated Taylorville High School in 1970. Terry married Marilyn Sharp sometime in the early 70's - they later divorced - she married Rich Paine... don't know what happened to Terry. The entire Oak Hill Cemetery interments are now online - http://www.taylorville.net/cemetery/ you can search by first name, middle name, or last name - and by burial, or by plot purchaser. This site also has information about EVERY Christian County cemetery - AND the name of a contact person for EACH!! WAY TO GO T-VILLE!!!     2. There is a George Harbert burried at Oak HIlls Cemetery in Taylorville, IL. He died in Morrisonville on 2/29/1996. That's the only Harbert listed in that cemetery book. Sheryl
