    2. Susan Tilleman
    3. A search of my database, including information obtained from replies to my recent queries, shows the following Minnie CEARLOCKs who lived in the Fayette, Christian, and Montgomery Co., IL, area. Any additions or corrections would be greatly appreciated. 1. Minnie May CARLOCK/CEARLOCK, d/o John Henry CARLOCK/CEARLOCK (s/o Abraham CARLOCK/CEARLOCK, George W. CEARLOCK, b. ca. 1878 The info that Bonnie Miller sent you agrees with mine. Having grown up in Wenatchee, WA, and knowing the family, I know this is correct. However, the other Minnie info is puzzling. My grandmother, Minnie May Carter Cearlock died January 31, 1949 and is buried in Ramsey Cemetery. My info on the baby Minnie came from cousin, Betty Cearlock, who has done extensive research on the family. I asked her about it and she told me that our Grandfather James Otis said he had a sister who died as an infant. The Minnie Cearlock in Edinburg Cemetery that died in 1948, I haven't a clue. 3. Minnie M. CEARLOCK, age 2, d/o James Robert "Robert" CEARLOCK and Melvina Peradine VIRDEN, appears on the 1880 census for Buckhart, Christian Co., IL. One source says that she died in 1880. Another source says that she married a man named Ira HILL, which seems unlikely since her half-sister also married a man named Ira HILL. Can anyone verify Minnie's death date of 1880? 3. Need clarification regarding some individual facts with regard to the children of my ggg-grandfather, James Robert CEARLOCK (1851 - 1926). One of the subscribers to the CEARLOCK list sent me an e-mail saying the following: "I wanted to point out an error on Minnie that I didn't notice until I got your April 29, 2003 email 'Ancestors of Susan Elaine 'Sue' Cearlock'. ... Melvina Peradine Virden.....then Children of James Cearlock and Melvina Virden: ... Minnie Cearlock was born 1878 and died 1880. My grandmother was Minnie May Carter Cearlock, born May 5, 1895. I don't have a middle name for Grandpa James Otis' baby sister, Minnie. Ira Hill married Theresy May Cearlock, born October 11, 1886 to James Robert and Frances Wolf in Christian County, IL and died March 17, 1919 in Fayette Co. They were married May 17, 1903. 1. [ILCHRIST] Mills/Beckingham
    2. I have just recently confirmed the name of Clyde T Mills' parents. His father was reconfirmed as David Mills (information from obituary, death certificate, and birth index) while his mother was confirmed as Elizabeth Beckingham (as per birth index...she isn't listed on the death certificate or the obituary). The marriage index states that the only David Mills in Christian County who married a Beckingham married one with the first name of Sarah. There are also no other David Mills' married to a Beckingham in Illinois. Now that could possibly be her middle name as I have seen two different initials for her A and H (which could be an A...haven't seen the actual birth certificate). I am waiting on some marriage information on another person and then will be sending off for this particular one. I have them in the Oak Hill Cemetery and in all the census' (1880 to 1910) until their deaths. According to the 1910 Census, he arrived in 1871 and she in 1878. Though in 1900 she states she was born in Illinois. Just wondering if anyone has these people in their lines and hoping to figure out the mystery of the names on the marriage license. Tori
