    3. I am curious. I saw the Grama R BEST. I wonder if your husband is a descendant of a brother Henry BEST of my paternal 2nd great-grandfather Abraham BEST. My paternal great grandfather Henry BEST/BESS of Fayette Co, IL was named for an uncle Henry BEST of Christian Co, IL. Great grandfather changed the spelling from BEST to BESS abt. 1870. My paternal grandmother was Morna Evalene (BESS) HIMES. My ancestry with names, dates and localities is on my homepage under the HIMES section. It starts with both sets of my grandparents. I was born in Illinois. Most of my relatives still live around Vandalia, IL. http://members.truepath.com/beverly/index.html Beverly (HIMES) BARGER in NM [email protected] wrote: > On the 1860 Census P. 925 > Dwelling #1981 - Family 1876 > > There was a James W.
